General

We are located at Rua Joaquim Maria de Melo 244, Vila do Conde 4800-002. Come visit us for great games, great food and a great atmosphere!

  • Thursday 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Friday and Saturday 2:00pm to 12:00am, Sunday 10:30am to 10:30pm.
  • Please check our social media or our Google page for any changes to opening hours during holidays.

Play at the Cafe

Not mandatory — we accept people on the spot if there is a table available, but we recommend booking to guarantee a table. Reservations until 9:00 pm, after that time it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Yes, we charge €3 per person for two hours for unlimited access to our toy library. After two hours, you will be charged an additional €1.5 per hour per person. This fee helps us maintain the games, keep the space running and buy more games for the toy library.

As long as we're open, you can stay and play as long as you want!

Yes! We have a private room available for hire. Please contact us for more information.

Food and Drinks

Yes! We have a tasty selection of snacks, meals and drinks (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options). We also have vegan and vegetarian options. Check out our Menu for the current options.

No outside food or drink is permitted, except in cases of specific dietary requirements — please discuss this with us in advance.

Game Rentals

Yes, we have a selection of board games available for rent. You can check out the available titles in the store.

Games can be rented for a week, subject to a deposit. The price to rent a game is €4.50 per kg. Then simply return the game in good condition and we will refund the deposit!

Sometimes it can happen! We analyze each situation on a case-by-case basis, but it may be necessary to cover the costs of replacing parts or the entire set.

Game Sales

Of course! We have a small but carefully selected selection of games for sale in the store and a wider selection on our website. Our team will be happy to make recommendations.

Other Questions

Yes! We welcome players of all ages. We have games suitable for children, families and experienced players.

You can, however, be charged a gaming fee for hours at the table.

We do not have Wi-Fi available to guests. The concept of our space is to turn off electronic gadgets and enjoy the company of friends and/or family! Enjoy your time together!

Shipping

We ship to Portugal. You can browse the games available on our website and select shipping at checkout.

Shipping costs vary depending on your location and the size of your order. Shipping to Portugal has a fixed cost of €3 for orders under €100. All orders over €100 are shipped to Portugal free of charge. The final cost will be calculated at the time of purchase. We occasionally have free shipping promotions — follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter to make sure you don't miss out on discounts or promotions!

Orders are typically processed within 3-5 business days, but we try to ship as quickly as possible. Delivery times vary depending on the destination. Most orders arrive within 2 business days. We ship on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Yes! As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number so you can track the delivery.

Yes! If you're nearby, you can choose the free pickup option at checkout and come pick up your order during opening hours.

If your order arrives damaged or with an error, please contact us at geral@ajogar.com within 7 days of receipt. We will do our best to resolve the situation.
