Tzolk'in: The Mayan Calendar (PT)

Description

Tzolkin: The Mayan Calendar introduces a new gameplay mechanic: dynamic worker placement.

Players representing different Mayan tribes place their workers on giant connected gears, and as the gears turn, they take the workers to different Action Points.

During a rotation, players can
(a) place one or more workers at the lowest visible point of the gears
(b) catch one or more workers.
When placing workers, you must pay corn, which is used as currency in the game. When you pick up a worker, you perform certain actions depending on the worker's position. Actions located "later" on the gears are more valuable, so it's wise to let time work for you - but players can't skip their turn; if they have all their workers on the gears, they have to pick up some.

The game ends after a complete revolution of the Tzolkin core gear. There are many paths to victory. Pleasing the gods, placing crystal skulls in deep caverns, or building many temples are just two of these many paths...
